D-DAY BARBED WIRE
On June 6, 1944, approximately 156,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified coastline, to fight against Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy. Barbed wire was seen throughout the coastlines. The wire included in this display stands as a memorial to those who fought in the defense of freedom and represents the struggles and obstacles they overcame.
