Epoch Relics
On June 6, 1944, approximately 156,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified coastline, to fight against Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy. Barbed wire was seen throughout the coastlines. The wire included in this display stands as a memorial to those who fought in the defense of freedom and represents the struggles and obstacles they overcame. It was found on a farm in Normandy, France, and is original German barbed wire from the D-Day invasion. Only one piece of barbed wire is included within the acrylic display. The other pieces of barbed wire in the photos are not included with this product.

My 11 year-old grandson who is in sixth grade is currently obsessed with specifically Normandy and D-Day. And all he wants for his birthday and the holidays are artifacts. They are currently in my closet ready to be wrapped to give him in a few weeks. I know he will be ecstatic when he sees how beautifully presented the parachute and barbed wire are and he will display them in a space in his room he has already made available. We have it displayed with sand from Omaha Beach, a Nazi coin and one of your parachute pieces. The display is next to an original June 6, 1944 Shreveport Journal front page. Love the pieces.
