This is a genuine piece of camouflaged T-5 Parachute canopy used in Normandy, on D-Day, 6 June 1944.
On June 6, 1944, more than 13,000 American paratroopers dropped into the coastline region of Normandy, France. This section of parachute canopy was used on D-Day by John Seney, 101st Airborne division, a.k.a "Screaming Eagles". During the invasion, the division was scattered miles away from the landing zones due to bad weather and intense enemy ground fire. An estimated 4,500 of the division's 6,928 paratroopers were either killed, wounded, or missing during the battle. Despite the overwhelming odds, they managed to take many of their objectives on D-Day and complete their mission over the next few days.

The parachute piece is displayed with your barbed wire, sand from Omaha beach, a 1939 Nazi Coin and an original June 6 1944 Shreveport Journal front page. Great product.

This was the perfect gift for my history loving veteran husband! Especially since he was part of the 101st Airborne Division. It looks great, displays well, and he was so excited when he opened it. 10/10 recommend!

Absolutely worth the wait the size of the parachute piece was much bigger than I expected, about the size of a ticket. It is just incredible to hold a piece of history.

It’s great!! I love how you told us who the parachute belonged to! Looks great in our display case and will definitely be shopping with you again!

It was portrayed to be a larger item and although it is a piece of history, it is very small and difficult to read the notations without aid. Wish it was a larger piece of lucite with a larger piece of the parachute. Charge more and make it look more interesting

I did not receive an authenticity certificate from this item. Is that something that I can have sent? The item is perfect.

Parachutes used in WWII were white, not camo.

My wife, a WWII enthusiast, found your products online and they will be a Christmas gift. The parachute arrived today, and the barbed wire shipped today. Should have a happy wife on Christmas morning.

Like my wife once said (thought it would be bigger) and the hooker I hired (thought I'd get more for what I paid).

Bought this because my son (82nd Airborne) went to Normandy for his unit. He brought back a bottle of sand, and this will go perfectly with it!

As an army paratrooper combat Vet of GWOT I was pumped to get this piece of history. A little bummed it such a tiny piece. Its hard to tell what it even is it is so small. Probably wont order from this company again. Only redeeming factor is the story of the paratrooper whose chute it came from was included.

I have both the D Day barbed wire and the D Day parachute. I have been to Normandy, and seen the scope of history from these two items. I just love owning a small part of such a historic day. Beautiful presentation from Engineered Labs.

Purchased for my dad as a Father’s Day gift. As a big history buff, he loved it. We were both incredibly impressed with both the quality of the item and the amazing detail included with the certificate of authenticity!
